Liz Neighbors is a board-certified nurse practitioner in family medicine and is additionally certified as an international board certified lactation consultant. She has extensive experience in women’s health and primary care, as well as a reputation for a personalized approach to medicine. Her experience has allowed her to care for patients of all walks of life, including helping families in need in an underserved populations clinic, and now as she joins Primelife in Ames, Iowa, with a focus on bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and women’s health.
I am proud to serve patients in an evidence-based and individualized setting. Our entire team believes each patient is different, and therefore, each should be treated in a comprehensive and personalized fashion. My patient is not a number to me, but rather a person who has goals needs and wants. Many of my patients are just like me- a wife, mother, or professional. These patients just want to be able to get everything they can out of life, and I am happy to share in the successes and help to change the struggles. This kind of relationship is the most valuable aspect of health care to me. Feeling great is just a bonus!
