Dr. Kirk has practiced for over 30 years as a private practice Ob/Gyn physician in the Tulsa community. Her special interests have always been gynecologic surgery and menopausal management to provide women with a high level of quality of life.
Dr. Kirk was born in Wichita, KS and moved to Oklahoma in primary school, later continuing her college and medical school education at the University of Oklahoma. Earning B. S degrees in both Nursing and Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma, she went on to earn her Doctorate of Medicine in 1987 from OU as well. A move to the East Coast provided an outstanding experience for OB/Gyn training. She relocated to New York City and completed both internship and residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan.
Tulsa is now home to Dr. Kirk and her husband who is a practicing anesthesiologist. They have three grown children who now attend the University of Oklahoma and are the third generation in the family to attend.
My team and I believe strongly in the physician-patient relationship and work with you in making the best decisions for your health. We take our time with every patient, and try to treat each person the way we would want to be treated, or the way we would wish for our families to be treated. Each person is different, and their needs change over time. This is why it’s important to have an individualized program designed for each patient. We are pleased to offer SottoPelle bio-identical hormone replacement therapy to our patients.
Dr. Kirk has long been an avid supporter of hormone replacement therapy for menopausal women. She believes that the ultimate goal for HRT is the reestablishment of normal serum and tissue levels of hormones in the body to achieve optimum health. In adopting Dr. Tutera’s pellet therapy for hormones, and the SottoPelle brand specifically, she has found the solution to offering women the therapy to live a healthy and active lifestyle. SottoPelle offers fewer side effects and several advantages over traditional therapy to improve menopausal symptoms.
